We believe it takes a team effort to attract, hire and retain top HR talent. Our approach is to work very closely with the hiring manger and staffing team to ensure we all understand our roles in the search process. We believe the most important and effective tool for finding the right talent for your organization is open communication between G&A, the client and the candidates.

Understanding your Needs

We begin by getting to know your company, and understanding what you are looking for in filling your HR position. From education, to experience, to finding the right fit for your company’s culture, many factors can contribute to finding the right match. With nearly two decades in HR Recruiting, we understand the difference between a good candidate and an exceptional one — and we will go beyond typical resume review to find the most qualified applicants. We will also take the extra step to ensure each candidate we present has the qualities you are seeking for the position, and for your company.

Begin the Search Process

Unlike many search firms, we never post your jobs on online job boards, nor do we rely on massive e-mail blasts to generate interest in your position. We take a more direct approach, reaching out to candidates personally, by phone or in person. This results in a more targeted pool of candidates with a high degree of interest in your company and role. Guidry & Associates maintains a proprietary database with thousands of highly qualified HR candidates who we may reach out to as potential applicants, or to provide recommendations and networking opportunities. We also take advantage of social media sites and other resources to find both active and passive candidates who meet your qualifications.

Prequalification

Beyond basic qualifications, we interview potential candidates to determine their personal, professional and financial motivations, as well as their openness to geographic mobility. Once we have pre-qualified applicants, we will present you with a range of candidates who understand your company, are interested in the position, and would fit well within your corporate culture.

Interview and feedback

Before, during, and after the interview phase, we work closely with clients and candidates. We will provide you with detailed information beyond just a candidate’s resume, and ensure candidates understand your company, your position, and what you are looking for. We will also follow up with you and your candidates after each interview, and share insights. This approach leads to higher success rates in matching clients and candidates, and less wasted time.

Our Fees

With our contingency-based search process, you only pay for our service fee when you hire one of our candidates. For more difficult-to-fill or urgent positions, we understand that a more dedicated approach may be required. When appropriate, we do offer a variety of container and retained options.
